Juan Antonio Bayona to Direct Showtime's Penny Dreadful
Critically-acclaimed, award-winning Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona ( The Impossible , The Orphanage ) will helm the first two episodes in the eight episode series order of the upcoming Showtime drama "Penny Dreadful" – created, written and executive produced by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan ( Hugo , The Aviator , Gladiator ) and executive produced by Oscar winner Sam Mendes ( American Beauty , Skyfall ) and Neal Street's Pippa Harris ( Revolutionary Road , Call The Midwife ). Miss Utah USA takes 2nd stab at pageant question

LAS VEGAS — Miss Utah USA is taking another stab at the pageant question that brought her Internet infamy.

Marissa Powell appeared Tuesday morning on NBC's "The Today Show"  to talk about her fumble during Sunday's Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas.

She told host Matt Lauer that she was confused by the three-part question, which mentioned that more women are becoming primary breadwinners and that they're earning less than men. It then asked what that said about society.

Jodi Arias TV movie airs Saturday on Lifetime

PHOENIX — A made-for-television movie on Jodi Arias is scheduled to air this weekend.

"Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret" is set to be shown Saturday on Lifetime, but the movie won't be about the trial.

Screenwriter Richard Blaney wrote the script with Gregory Small. Blaney told The Arizona Republic (http://bit.ly/19NmBq4 ) the project was in the works more than a year ago. He says they completed the script in December.

Michelle Chamuel is magic on 'The Voice'

Amherst resident Michelle Chamuel surprised viewers with a bit of video trickery in the live performance finale of “The Voice" last night.

In her cover of Annie Lennox’s “Why,” she appeared to be singing to her reflection in a mirror. That turned out to be a technical illusion, however.

The reflection was a pre-recorded bit she swerved away from.

For a show notorious for its over-produced numbers, this was a clever, canny way of underscoring her vocal power.
